Søcle rests on a simple idea: a website does not need to be recomputed at every visit. It needs to be right, fast, and easy to change.

Pages ready before the visit

Pages are built with Astro when they are published. When someone visits them, the server sends an HTML file that is already ready: no PHP, no database query, no plugin to load. The answer is almost instant, and there is nothing to hack.

When content changes, the website is rebuilt, checked, then put online.

A generic backend, not plugins

What has to stay alive (contact forms, newsletter, visitors' reviews, shop, statistics) goes through a Python backend shared by every Søcle website. It is protected by a web application firewall and quotas, and exposes nothing beyond what your website needs.

Specific features are not added by installing a plugin, but by asking for them: the AI applies a recipe (in French) or creates the data structure you need.

Three modules in the administration

Studio (in French): the chat that changes the website on a copy, with a preview, publication or cancellation, and a way back to previous versions.
Data: the data structures of your website (news, team, FAQ, projects, etc.), edited in a simple form. The equivalent of ACF, without a plugin.
SEO & GEO (in French): titles, descriptions, structured data, summaries, FAQ, llms.txt and redirects, page by page.

With your own AI, if you prefer

Søcle exposes an MCP server: you can have your website changed from Claude or ChatGPT (in French), with the same safeguards as in the Studio.

Hosted, maintained, secured

Søcle runs in locked-down Docker containers, on a server we manage: hosting (in French), updates and backups are included. The details are on the security page (in French). And the website stays yours: you can get its complete static version back at any time. Need to sell? The Saleor shop (in French) can be switched on as an option.
